Pebbles & Pathways Childcare is a new childcare center opening in late summer in West Kelowna, thoughtfully designed to embrace and celebrate the Reggio Emilia philosophy of Early Childhood Education.
"Education is a right of all, and children must feel that they are the protagonists of their own growth." — Loris Malaguzzi
Hello and welcome to Pebbles & Pathways!
My name is Reaghan Gasparre, and I am honoured to introduce myself as the founder of this heartfelt new journey. I earned my Early Childhood Education license in 1998, and from the moment I stepped into my first childcare center, I knew I had found my true passion — nurturing the wonder, creativity, and endless potential of young children.
Family is at the center of my world. I am the proud mom of four amazing children, and our lively home is filled with the love (and energy!) of four dogs — and now, a small flock of chickens that have quickly become part of the family too! My husband, Frank, and I recently relocated to the beautiful Okanagan Valley, and we are grateful every day to call Kelowna our home.
Prior to moving to Kelowna, I opened and operated Reggio Emilia-inspired childcare centers in the Fraser Valley, where I had the privilege of working alongside incredible educators and families. I look forward to bringing that same passion, quality, and philosophy to the community here through Pebbles & Pathways.
Building exceptional teams has always been one of my greatest joys. I truly believe that when educators feel inspired and respected, the environment they create for children becomes even more magical. I am so excited to grow this beautiful community together and to begin this journey with all of you.
Hello!
My name is Amanda Odenbach, and I’ve been working with children for over a decade. I began my career as a gymnastics coach and later transitioned into supporting children with special needs. After moving to the Okanagan in 2022, I began working as an Early Childhood Educator.
I am a fully certified ECE and am currently pursuing my Infant and Toddler certification. In 2024, I became a first-time mother to a beautiful daughter. This experience has deepened my insight into early childhood education and strengthened my understanding of child development.
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and loved. I strive to foster an environment where positivity and kindness are at the core of every interaction. I am excited to bring this philosophy into my role as Director at Pebbles and Pathways and look forward to supporting children and families in a meaningful way.
Warm regards, Amanda Odenbach

At Pebbles & Pathways, we view each child as capable, curious, and full of potential in our nurturing environment, supporting them to grow, discover, and explore at their own pace.
At Pebbles & Pathways, our Infant Program provides a nurturing and comforting beginning for our youngest learners. Designed for up to 12 children, typically ranging in age from approximately 10 months to 18 months, this program is thoughtfully tailored to honor each child's individual rhythms and needs.
Following the principles of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, we embrace the belief that even our youngest children are capable, curious, and full of potential. Each infant's unique schedule for eating, sleeping, and exploration is respected and supported, creating a smooth and loving transition from home to childcare.
Our incredible team of dedicated educators works in close partnership with families, welcoming each child into a warm, home-like environment where strong relationships are built and cherished. Through attentive care, natural materials, gentle experiences, and a deep respect for each child’s voice, we lay the foundation for a lifetime love of learning.
"Where nurturing beginnings inspire a lifetime of wonder."
At Pebbles & Pathways, our Toddler Program is designed for children typically between 19 months and 36 months of age, with a maximum of 12 children in the group.
Toddlers are naturally curious, energetic, and full of wonder — and our program is built to celebrate that spirit. Following the Reggio Emilia philosophy, children spend their days immersed in exploration, discovery, and play, moving freely through thoughtfully designed environments that invite creativity, problem-solving, and connection.
Our passionate educators act as co-learners alongside the children, guiding, observing, and supporting their growth through meaningful interactions and rich experiences. With an emphasis on relationships, respect, and the child's voice, the Toddler Program offers a nurturing and stimulating foundation where each child's individuality is honored and celebrated.
"Busy hands, curious minds, endless possibilities."
Our 3–5 Year Old Program at Pebbles & Pathways welcomes children aged 30 months to 5 years, with up to 25 children in this vibrant, dynamic environment.
Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, this busy and engaging program nurtures children’s natural curiosity, creativity, and love for learning. Through hands-on exploration, collaborative projects, and meaningful experiences, children are supported in developing the critical thinking, social, and emotional skills that will serve them well as they prepare for the transition to kindergarten and beyond.
Educators act as co-learners and guides, encouraging children’s ideas, questions, and discoveries while creating a rich, inspiring environment where every child feels empowered, respected, and capable. We believe that when children are given the time, space, and trust to explore their world, their potential becomes limitless.
"Inspiring curious minds to grow, explore, and soar."
Our Extended Preschool Program at Pebbles & Pathways offers a rich and inspiring early learning experience for 16 children ages between 30 months to five years old, following the School District 23 calendar. Program hours run from 8:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., providing a longer preschool day that supports deeper exploration, connection, and growth.
Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, express their ideas in many different ways, and engage in meaningful projects and collaborative learning experiences. The extended hours allow for a more relaxed, thoughtful pace to the day, giving children the time and space to dive deeply into their interests while building strong social, emotional, and cognitive foundations.
Our skilled educators work closely with children and families to create a nurturing, respectful environment where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered — preparing them for their next steps with confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
"Unhurried days, endless opportunities to learn."
Our School Age Program at Pebbles & Pathways is designed for children aged 5 to 12 years, with space for up to 16 children.
We offer a supportive and engaging environment that includes drop-off and pick-up services to local schools, as well as full-day care during professional development (Pro-D) days, spring break, summer break, and winter break.
Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our program goes beyond the classroom — encouraging children to explore, create, collaborate, and connect with the world around them. Through hands-on projects, outdoor adventures, and opportunities for meaningful discovery, children continue to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually in a nurturing and inspiring setting.
At Pebbles & Pathways, we believe learning doesn't stop when the school bell rings — it evolves through experience, relationships, and wonder.
"Beyond the classroom: where exploration and creativity thrive."
Our Multi-Age Program at Pebbles & Pathways embraces the beauty of a mixed-age environment, welcoming children ranging from toddlers to school-age.
With only 8 children in this nurturing space, the program feels much like the heart of a home — a place where older children naturally take on leadership roles and younger children are inspired and supported by their peers. This warm, family-style setting encourages collaboration, empathy, and a strong sense of belonging.
The smaller group size creates a calm and comforting environment, making it an ideal landing place for children who may have sensory sensitivities or for families who wish to keep siblings of different ages together in one caring and connected program.
Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our Multi-Age Program honors the unique voice and journey of every child, creating a space where relationships blossom and learning unfolds in the most natural and meaningful ways.
"A home away from home, where all ages grow together."
